Hot Fall Trend: Ladylike Style

Katie Holmes will be staring in “The Kennedys,” the History Channel’s first scripted miniseries, airing in 2011. Katie will portray first lady Jacqueline Kennedy in the eight-hour program about the famous family. With the images of Katie- dressed in costumes for her role- saturating the web, we have been reminded of the term “ladylike”.

Designers have embraced this concept as well (perhaps inspired by the wildly popular Mad Men TV series?). Refined designs, structured details and feminine shapes bring us a a renewed vision of what fun “proper” fashion can be. There is nothing stuffy about this trend!
